ABOUT ANNA

Anna Kyrk is a passionate educator and leader with over 20 years of experience in the UK and Australian education sectors. She has dedicated her career to creating inclusive, engaging, and empowering learning environments that inspire both students and educators.

Throughout her career, Anna has been a strong advocate for innovative teaching practices. She is skilled at embedding Oracy as a key teaching and learning strategy, having worked closely with leaders from Voice 21 to enhance student outcomes from its inception.

As a Project-Based Learning (PBL) expert, she has developed high-quality, cross-curricular approaches that not only meet National Curriculum standards but also stretch far beyond them. Her curriculum support is shaped by imagination, real-world links, project management, meaningful partnerships, and—most importantly—a genuine love of teaching and working with young people.

Anna has worked closely with Paul Dix and his team at When the Adults Change, supporting schools to develop strong relational cultures. Through her school support work, she has advised leadership teams and multi-academy trusts on transforming school culture and improving student outcomes, helping to create environments where both staff and students can thrive.

As an engaging presenter and facilitator, Anna brings energy, authenticity, and depth to her training. She weaves together lived experience, storytelling, and interactive, dialogic approaches to create thought-provoking and practical learning experiences. Whether leading whole-school training, leadership development sessions, or hands-on curriculum workshops, she ensures that participants leave with both inspiration and actionable strategies.

At The Project Hub, Anna offers consultancy services focused on both culture and curriculum development. She specialises in relational practice, leadership development, coaching and mentoring, and expert curriculum advice rooted in Project-Based Learning pedagogy. She supports schools in designing rich, dynamic learning experiences that are relevant, rigorous, and deeply engaging for students.

Outside of her professional life, Anna is an avid traveler who believes that experiencing other cultures broadens one’s perspective and enriches personal development. This global outlook informs her approach to education, as she strives to prepare young people to be confident, compassionate, and active contributors to the world around them.
